"Why I Wrote THIS"-Wednesday™️: The Assessment
Learning to read before learning to read
Crowds never felt neutral to me.
I don’t enter rooms. I assess them.
Where are the exits.
Who’s standing too still.
Are they dressed for the weather.
Which bags look heavier than they should.
I stand near walls. I prefer edges. I notice who arrives late—and who doesn’t look relaxed doing it.
I didn’t learn this from books.
I learned it from living in places where crowded meant exposed.
A preferred target.
Tomorrow I’ll write about how this habit formed—
and why surviving it means the switch never goes back.
